Leandro Trossard expects Albion to head to Southampton with the right mentality despite Saturdayâs frustrating defeat to Leicester City. Albionâs dominant first half performance was rewarded as they took a 1-0 lead thanks to Adam Lallanaâs first goal for the club, but they were stung in the second half as the visitors netted twice.
âWe played really well in the first half,â Trossard said. âBut in the second half we didnât play our normal game and even though we had some chances, thatâs where we lost the game.
âIf you play against Leicester City, they will punish you with every chance that they get and itâs a disappointing one for us.
âWe have played really well in every game, weâve had chances but we need to convert them. The confidence wonât drop, everyone knows how we want to play and win games. Itâs just disappointing that we canât get the results at the moment.â
The 26-year-old is confident his teammates can rediscover their winning touch at St Maryâs on Sunday.
âThe wins will come like they did last season. We believe in each other and weâre doing the maximum we can.
âWe need to pick our heads up and look ahead to Southampton, we will go in with the right mentality.â
