Steve Gritt managed Albion during their 'great escape' season of 1996/97.

Seagulls over London are looking forward to welcoming our former manager, Steve Gritt, to their next meeting.

The event is taking place at the Horseshoe pub* on Wednesday 28 September from 7pm to 9.30pm.

This is their first pub evening of the new season and members are looking forward to hearing about Steve's career in football and particularly his time with the Albion and the 'great escape' of 1996/97.

They have an exciting series of meetings and events for the rest of the year including guest appearances from Tony Bloom, Paul Hazelwood and Richie Reynolds plus visits to the Albion museum and the WSL games against Aston Villa.

Pub meetings with speakers take place on a monthly basis and they have an active WhatsApp group and also meet informally every three weeks or so via Zoom to discuss all things Albion.
