Jens Scheuer admitted Albion lost their heads as they slumped to a 6-2 home defeat to Aston Villa in the WSL.
Skipper Julia Zigiotti put us ahead in the second minute, before Villa ran riot. They led 5-1 at the break but Danielle Carter pulled one back with a penalty before Jordan Nobbs completed a hat-trick.
Albion stay tenth in the table, but they are now just two points off bottom-placed Leicester City.
Megan Connolly returns to Albion as Bristol City captain. The Irish international made 80 appearances for the club.

“We started really well, but five minutes is not the whole game,” said the head coach. “After the second goal we seemed to lose our head. Against an opponent with Villa’s quality if you don’t defend well you will have no chance.
“It wasn’t a question of the attitude, in the second half we played a bit more with our head. The game was gone at half-time at 5-1, the chance to come back is zero but we did a lot better. The mentality was better but the last Villa goal was like too many in the first half.
We have got some harder games coming. We know the situation now [in the table]. We have to stay together and make it better.”
