Robert Sanchez conceded his first goal in over seven hours of Premier League football at Turf Moor.

Robert Sanchez was disappointed to see his run of four consecutive Premier League clean sheets come to an end in the 1-1 draw at Burnley.

But the 23-year-old accepted that conceding at some point was inevitable and a point from a trip to Turf Moor was still a good way to end a productive week.

“Drawing at Burnley is a great result for any side. They're very good at what they do, they put us under a lot of pressure in the second half and probably deserved their goal.

“We slowed down at the wrong time in the game, but we showed that we're a good team by waking up and defending well.

“It's disappointing not to continue our run of clean sheets, but you're going to concede goals in the Premier League.”

Just two defeats in their last 11 games, including three wins in their last five, has seen Albion climb away from the bottom three in the division.

Sanchez reckons Albion have turned a corner in recent weeks, as he and his teammates start preparations for a trip to Leicester City in the Emirates FA Cup on Wednesday.

“The team has found some momentum. We're not conceding goals and managing to put them away at the other end. It's what we have been working towards.

“We've been on a good run in the FA Cup and we're looking forward to playing Leicester.”
