Albion's under-18s were beaten 3-0 by Leicester City.
Kasey McAteer’s brace and an own goal from Roco Rees was enough to give the young Foxes all three points and consign Mark Beard’s side to a fourth defeat of the season.
Leicester took the lead from the penalty spot in the 37th minute when Kasey McAteer successfully scored from 12 yards out, and added another goal a minute shy of the interval from Shane Flynn’s assist.
The game was ended as a contest just after the hour mark when Roco Rees diverted the ball into his own net to make the final score 3-0 to the hosts.
Beard’s team now turn their attention to an FA Youth Cup fifth round tie away at Arsenal on Thursday evening.
