Head coach Hope Powell admitted Albion were beaten by a better side as they bowed out of the FA Cup in Sunday's semi-final.
Arsenal won 3-0 at Borehamwood thanks to three second-half goals from Kim Little, Beth Mead and Leah Williamson, as Albion found it hard to create clear-cut chances.
Powell said, "We had a go and I think we were a bit better in the first half than the second but credit to Arsenal, they are a great side and ran the show. When we had the ball we turned it over too cheaply and too quickly.
"We were really pleased at half-time because at that stage at 0-0 we were still in the game but they got those two quick goals and showed how clinical they were.

We tried, we kept going for 90 minutes and I am very proud of how we committed ourselves. There were some good things in the performance but lots to work on as well."
"I am proud of what we have done to get to the semis. We want to be able to compete against sides like Arsenal on a regular basis and it showed how much more we need to do to get to those levels. So perhaps there is a lesson there for us."
Albion are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Everton in the Barclays Women's Super League, kick off 5.30pm.
