Hope Powell was disappointed Albion's good performance against Chelsea didn't get its reward.
Second-half goals from Niamh Charles and substitute Pernille Harper earned the champions a 2-0 win in front of a record 3626 crowd at the Broadfield Stadium.
Powell said, "I was really pleased, that's the best we have played this season and against a good Chelsea side I thought we were a bit unlucky not to get something out of the game.
"They had to bring their big guns on towards the end to make sure they got the result and I think that's credit to us. We showed a lot of fighting spirit and had a go - I'm happy with the performance but obviously not the result."

Player of the match Katie Robinson had a great night in front of the Sky TV cameras and twice went close to scoring.
"She was bitterly disappointed not to score," said Powell. "But she is going to be a top player. She ran at their defenders, created opportunities for herself and others and hopefully those goals will go in soon."
