Albion’s unbeaten start to the season has been recognised with head coach Hope Powell nominated for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award.

The Seagulls kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win over Birmingham City and then drew 0-0 at last season’s runners-up Manchester City.

The other nominees are:

Willie Kirk (Everton)

Joe Montemurro (Arsenal)

Casey Stoney (Manchester United)

The award will be decided by a fans’ vote and you can vote for Hope here.

Voting closes at 6pm on Friday.
