Vicky, how does it feel to officially join the Albion?
Iâm really excited. I've met the coach and the staff and it feels like family â Iâm ready!
What was it that attracted you to the project that we are building here?
I think womenâs football is growing and that Brighton has a really good project that they want to grow every day. The fact that [head coach] Mel Phillips wanted me is a massive thing, and I feel I can bring a lot of experience to the squad and help the young players.
Vicky Losada has previous WSL experience with Manchester City and Arsenal.
Youâre returning to the WSL, how excited are you to be part of this incredibly competitive league again?
I love the WSL so I'm so happy to be back here now after playing in Italy and Spain. I think the investment in English football is massive and the WSL is the best league in the world.
How would you describe your mentality as a player?
Iâm very competitive and a hard worker. For me, the team is the first thing so I always put the team before the player. I think that's important it you want to create a good environment which can achieve good things in the future.
Youâre a really experienced player with a lot of knowledge of the game, is that something you want to implement within this squad?
I think itâs very important, especially with the young players. I know that there are other experienced players come into the squad and I think that combination is perfect to create something really good.
What are your key objectives that you want to achieve with Albion?
I think the objective right now is to be in the top five of the league and personally I want to contribute a lot on and off the pitch.
