Striker Neal Maupay admitted Everton were ruthless in punishing Albion’s errors as the Premier League leaders won 4-2 at Goodison Park.
The forward scored for the third successive game for the second time in his Albion career with Yves Bissouma also on target for the visitors.
He said, “It was tough for us because against those types of opposition you’ll get punished if you make mistakes.
“Every time we made an error they scored so that’s disappointing for us.
“We need to look at what’s working at the moment and what isn’t – we played a little bit into their hands in the second half. It’s up to us to analyse the game and be better in the future.”

Albion now have a two-week break from action before they travel to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday 18th October.
The Frenchman believes the side have made plenty of progress and is backing Albion to build on some encouraging performances in their first four games of the league season.
“We are developing a new style and you can see we’re on the right track.
“Everyone is working hard and understands what the manager wants from us.
“We have come up against some top teams recently and you can see we’re going through a process, there’s no shame in losing against these top sides but we have to take lessons from the last few weeks.
“We’re going in the right direction and if we all keep together - we’ll be fine.”
