Allison Becker – The Wall
The Brazil international has been instrumental to Jurgen Klopp’s side’s success since he joined in 2018. The former Roma stopper has the joint most number of clean-sheets in the Premier League (13), with Burnley keeper Nick Pope also on that total. As a club the Reds have kept 15, the highest of any club.
Alexander-Arnold – King of the assists
The defender with the highest number of assists this season, Trent Alexander-Arnold is second overall in the Premier League with 12, five short of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. Incredibly, the Reds have five players with seven assists or more this season.
Van Dijk – Passing Master
He’s way out in front on this one. Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk has made the most passes 2,847 so far this campaign – just slightly under 600 more than second place Rodrigo. Albion captain Lewis Dunk sits eighth in that table with 2,047 passes.
One red card all campaign
And who did that come against? Allison came charging out of his box during our meeting at Anfield earlier this season and handled the ball, earning himself a straight red card – the only one during Liverpool’s league season so far. Lewis Dunk scored directly from the resulting free-kick, when his quickly taken effort found the bottom left corner, but Liverpool won 2-1 on the night.
Landmark if Liverpool lose tonight
Albion take on the tightest defence in the league tonight. Liverpool have conceded just 25 goals in 33 matches. A defeat for Liverpool would be just their third this campaign, but it would be their 250th in the club’s Premier League history.
