Albion defender among six nominees for Young Player of the Year.

This is Maya's first nomination for the PFA Young Player of the Year.

Albion defender Maya Le Tissier has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

The 20-year-old was an ever present for Albion in the WSL last season and made her 50th appearance for the club. She was also a regular in the England under-23 squad. It is her first nomination for the award.

Maya was named Young Player of the Year at Albion's awards dinner last month.

The nominee list for women's YPOTY is wide open this year, with players from six different WSL clubs vying for the top spot.

Manchester City's Lauren Hemp, who has also been nominated for POTY, will be looking for a record-breaking fourth YPOTY win. Chelsea's Lauren James' third YPOTY nomination opens up the possibility of our first brother and sister win after her brother Reece was nominated in the men's YPOTY.

Manchester United's Ella Toone picks up her second consecutive YPOTY nomination after another season of flawless form.

Arsenal's Frida Maanum gets her first PFA YPOTY Award nomination just one year after joining the WSL, with Tottenham's Jessica Naz making history as the club's first women's YPOTY nominee.

The winners will be announced on 9 June.
