Adam Lallana has said he has rediscovered what made him a top player since joining Albion.
Playing the entire match at Tottenham took his Premier League minutes total up to 385 for this campaign, 13 more than he managed throughout last season at Liverpool.
It also marked his first full 90-minutes in a Premier League match since 21st May 2017, in a 3-0 win for the Reds over Middlesbrough.
He is confident that the more he plays, the better he will be.
“There is plenty more to come from me. I feel like I am finding myself again at Brighton.
“I have been playing in the number ten role for the first time in three years. I am retraining myself in the position and working on my finishing. It’s really enjoyable and a bit of a process, but I am making baby steps every day. I have started three Premier League games in a row which I haven’t done for God knows how long.
“I am still conscious that I want to get better. There’s nothing better than training hard all week and then going out to compete for points at the weekend.”
Adam Lallana celebrates with Tariq Lamptey and Neal Maupay after taking the lead against West Brom.
The 32-year-old is the oldest player in the squad, but believes that being surrounded by a young group has helped him roll back the years.
“Age has been creeping up on me. James Milner was the only one who was older than me at Liverpool but I still feel like in my mid-20s, although maybe that’s because I am rubbing shoulders with a squad with an average age of 23 - it makes me feel about 25!
“I have got experience, but I still feel young in my mind. I have got two kids, but I don’t feel like a middle-aged man!
“I am really enjoying it. I have settled in well and the group have been great to me. It’s always easier settling in when you know the language and the league.
“I would say the only thing is we could do with a few more points but apart from that it’s great to be back playing more football and I’m enjoying a new challenge, which is refreshing.”
