City are embroiled in a fierce title race with only four Barclays Womenâs Super League matches remaining this term.
Interim Women's Head Coach Mikey Harris said, "This is a great opportunity for Katie to help Manchester City and be part of the Womenâs Super League title race.
"Katie is a fantastic person and professional, with an excellent work ethic and determination both on and off the pitch. Iâve not doubt sheâll be a big asset for City during the run-in.
âWe will be monitoring her progress for the remainder of the season. We wish her the best of luck and look forward to welcoming her back to the club having had a positive experience which will benefit her in the future.â
