Jose Izquierdo celebrates his goal against West Ham United.

Jose Izquierdo netted a fantastic effort against West Ham United at the Amex back in February 2018, in a game that the Seagulls won 3-1.

The midfielder cut in from the left-hand side and unleashed an unstoppable effort into the top corner either side of goals from Glenn Murray and Pascal Gross.

His goal was enough to get your vote in the final group stage of our World Cup of Goals.

He joins Sebastien Pocognoli, Robbie Reinelt, Elliott Bennett, Florin Andone, Jimmy Case, Steve Sidwell, Leonardo Ulloa, Inigo Calderon, Will Buckley and Anthony Knockaert in the knockout stages.

Izquierdo's goal earned 48% of your vote, with Jiri Skalak in second place with 40%.

Elliott Bennett was in third place with 7% and Robert Codner was fourth with 5%.

Supporters will be able to vote in the first quarter-final of the competition on Wednesday when Pocognoli's free-kick against QPR from 2017 takes on Robbie Reinelt's historic strike against Hereford United and Bennett's long-range effort to seal the League One title away to Walsall back in 2011.
