Brighton & Hove Albion are pleased to announce the signing of Jack Hinchy from National League Stockport County on a two-year deal. The 18-year-old will go straight into the under-23s squad. Hinchy arrives having made his first team debut for the Hatters in January – a narrow 1-0 home defeat in the Emirates FA Cup third round to West Ham United. Under-23 coach Andrew Crofts said, “Jack arrives off the back of a good season at Stockport and that was highlighted by his debut, which I am sure will have been a real point of pride for himself and his family. “We’re pleased that he’s decided to trust us with his development – now it’s about him adjusting to the club and settling into a new area.”
The under-23s begin their Premier League 2 campaign on Monday 16th August, as they play away at Derby County.
