Full Hereford game to be streamed live

Albion’s 1997 relegation showdown with Hereford will be streamed live at 3pm today, a day before the 25-year anniversary of that epic encounter.

The Seagulls travelled to Edgar Street knowing a draw was enough for survival, but defeat would condemn them to relegation from the Football League.

With the club in existential crisis, Albion fans feared that dropping out the league could have disastrous consequences for the future of the club.

A week earlier, Albion bid farewell to the Goldstone Ground with a vital victory over Doncaster Rovers to set-up the nerve-shredding final day scenario.

And now, for the first time ever, courtesy of ITV Sport, supporters can re-watch the dramatic events in full.
