Fantastic weekend of results for Albion rounded off with 5-0 win for women's team at Birmingham.

Emma Koivisto nodded in Albion's fourth in fantastic fashion from Inessa Kaagman's cross.

Albion's men's, women's, under-23s and under-18s teams made it a weekend to remember as all four sides took maximum points in their respective fixtures across the three days.

Andrew Crofts' under-23 side started in style as they blew Blackburn Rovers away at the Amex on Friday night with a 4-1 win under the lights.

Marc Leonard, Laurent Tolaj, James Furlong and Evan Ferguson got the goals to lift Albion to second place in the Premier League 2.

Then on Saturday morning James Baxter's under-18s won 3-1 at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, thanks to a Zak Emmerson hat-trick.

Leandro Trossard's late winner secured all three points for Graham Potter’s men at Brentford’s new community stadium, as at one stage Albion had ten full internationals on the pitch in the second half.

That lifted Albion to third in the Premier League on the final whistle.

Then the best result of the weekend came on Sunday afternoon as Hope Powell’s side thrashed Birmingham City 5-0 with a complete performance at St Andrew’s.

Victoria Williams, Inessa Kaagman, Danielle Carter, Emma Koivisto and Kayleigh Green got the goals in what was a record Women’s Super League win for Hope Powell’s side.
