Roberto De Zerbi says he has put aside the disappointment of defeat at Tottenham and focuses on another big game in the capital on Saturday.

Albion dropped to seventh after going down 2-1 in controversial fashion to Spurs, their first away defeat in the Premier League since October.

We have the chance to start another unbeaten run on the road against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, having beaten them 4-1 at the Amex – De Zerbi’s first win as our head coach.

He said, “I still am frustrated for the result and the way it arrived but in football this situation can happen and we have to look forward to the next game.

“We are ambitious, we are able to fight for a place in Europe next season but we have to think step by step. We play Chelsea and want to win and then we have to prepare in the best way for the semi-final.

“It will be very difficult to make up ten points [and qualify for the Champions League] but we have to see. We have some difficult games, but also we have the quality to win two or three games in a row.”
