Lewis Dunk is certain Albion can secure their Premier League status in the coming weeks.
His belief in that is rock solid even after a 1-0 defeat at relegated Sheffield United on Saturday.
âIt was a missed opportunity at Sheffield United to put some distance between us and the bottom three. We have got to give some credit to them, they didn't concede and were difficult to breakdown,â said Dunk.
âWe conceded a poor goal in the first half which is difficult to come back from against a team who will sit in and make it hard for you. It proved too much in the end.
âWe dominated possession, we created a few chances, but we didn't put them in the back of the net, it's a loss we need to move on from.
âWe have got five games now that we need to make the most of to secure our Premier League status for next season.â
Albion have a tough run in between now and the end of the campaign, including the visit of Manchester City to the Amex. Next up is a home game against Leeds United on Saturday.
âEvery game is tough in this league,â the Albion skipper said. âWe have shown this season that we can beat the big teams and we have got a few of them left. We are confident in our dressing room that we will be fine and we have got to keep fighting until the end.
âEveryone in the dressing room wants to get us over the line. We have got a good team spirit, good players and manager here. We know we have got enough to stay in this league.â
