The Seagulls head to the London Stadium on Saturday to take on West Ham United, with the sides separated by two points and two places in the Premier League.
Dunk said, âWe know itâs a big game, thereâs pressure and that weâre in a battle to stay in the league.
âWe understand the situation and itâs about how we deal with it. With Watford coming up the week after, we have two big matches against teams around us but Iâm sure we have the characters in the side to perform once we get out onto the field.
âWeâve had a good week to prepare for Saturdayâs match and we feel ready. The message to the fans is that weâre ready for the fight to stay in this league, and hopefully we can make it as comfortable as we can as soon as possible.
âIf we pick up some points then the conversation changes and weâre not under pressure. There isnât a lot between where we are now and the middle of the table, a few good results can take you up the league quickly. We know the fans will be behind us through this period and weâll do our best to pick up some points.â
The defender has also been reflecting on his journey with the club he made his debut for back in 2009 and emphasised how settled he is at Albion.
âBoth myself and the club have come so far during my time here. Weâve got a new stadium and a new training ground and itâs all unbelievable.
âIâm very happy here. I have my family and friends around me and Iâm enjoying my football â Iâve grown up and come a long way with this football club and seen and experienced it all. Itâs been enjoyable and hopefully thereâs more to come yet.â
