Albion striker Danielle Carter says that as soon as she steps over the white line against Arsenal on Sunday, she’ll be fighting to bring the three points back to the south coast.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a lot of success with the Gunners, winning both the WSL and the FA Cup during her time there.
She left for Reading in 2020 before joining Albion in the summer.
She insists that any feelings she has for Arsenal will be put to one side.
Carter has two goals to her name so far this campaign, coming against Birmingham and Chelsea.

“It’s not necessarily an emotional one for me to play against Arsenal, but it’s close to home. I’ve played against Arsenal a few times since I left last year and how I feel about the club is irrelevant the moment you step out onto the pitch, I represent Brighton and I want to win every game with this club.”
The striker wants Albion to bring an end to a run of four straight defeats – two of which have come in the Barclays FA WSL.
“We want to end the year on a high. Everyone is aware we haven’t been playing as well as we have shown this season and we need to rediscover that form.

The Brighton & Hove Albion boss spoke to the media ahead of the the club's Women's Super League clash with Arsenal.
“We need to create our own luck. We are working hard on and off the pitch, hopefully we can head into the Christmas break with a win.
“Regardless of what happens against Arsenal we’ve still had a good start to the season, we just need to regroup and put in a good performance. We want to take advantage of Arsenal’s recent form and give them a really hard game.”
