Facundo Buonanotte revealed that Alexis Mac Allisterâs brother, Francis, said positive things about the club before he moved here.
The 18-year-old played alongside Alexisâs oldest sibling in Argentina at Rosario Central last season. âFrancis just told me it was a really good club to make this big step to Europe,â Facundo said. âHe told me they would help me a lot and they would treat me in the best way.
âAlexis and all the South American boys have been helping me settle in. They have treated me very well.
âBrighton has a really nice group and thatâs important. The togetherness of the group is the fundamental factor to having a good season.â
The Argentina under-20 international made his Premier League debut on Saturday when he replaced Tariq Lamptey in the second half against Bournemouth.
âIâm really happy for the team and the club and secondly to make my debut here with Brighton and in the Premier League. I hope to help the team in the best way.
The midfielder came on for the final 15 minutes against Bournemouth.
âIâm satisfied with what I did but the most important thing is we won. More than anything, Iâm happy about that.
âWhen I came on, Roberto told me to play as a double playmaker with Jeremy [Sarmiento] and to enjoy myself. That was the important thing â to just think about playing and enjoying it.â
Buonanotte revealed that his head coach told him the day before that heâd be involved against the Cherries.
âHe told me after the training session that I was in the squad and that I had this chance to possibly play. It took me a little bit by surprise but I was very happy.â
