Chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber will continue to represent the Premier League on both The FA Council and Professional Game Board for the new season.
It will be Paul's fifth consecutive season as a Premier League representative on The FA Council and Professional Game Board (PGB).
He was previously elected to the FA Council and PGB by EFL Championship clubs for the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, and he will therefore soon commence a seventh season of service in these roles since returning to English football from MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps FC a decade ago.
Paul, who celebrates ten years’ service this summer and recently agreed a new contract with the club, said, “I look forward to continuing to serve on The FA Council and Professional Game Board on behalf of the Premier League and its clubs, and will do my best to not only represent the clubs in our division but the wider interests of the game in our country too.”
