The club and AITC will be offering disability awareness training to fans.
This training has been successfully given to all club and AITC staff, and will involve disability coach Kieran Green and development officer – disability education, Hayley Templeman, delivering the session in the Harvey’s Lounge between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Both Hayley and Kieran hold an array of qualifications, which include BSL signing certificates and a range of disability specific coaching badges.
You will understand the impact of both negative and positive terms, gain an overview of different disabilities, including physical, hidden and learning. There will also be an introduction to basic sign language/Makaton, and you will be taught ways to support individuals with a disability.
Click here to book your place at the session, which is free for everyone to attend, whether you have previously been to a game at the Amex before or not.
