A project to provide clean water for 1,164 people in India is being funded by the club.
Albion funded the project through the purchase of Life Water, who work with Drop4Drop, a charity that aims to help the 663 million people in the world who do not have access to safe water.

The village previously relied on ponds and open wells for their source of water, which was unsafe to drink and caused children to suffer skin problems, coughs and colds and left them in a disease prone state.
Lakshmi Raghu of Thanipoondi SC said, “I am happy and humbled to thank Drop4Drop and our donors Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club through purchases of Life Water.
“We are very happy to see the new water sources in our village – we now have access to the water 24/7. It is a great opportunity, and we feel blessed that you have made this possible.”
