Member behaviour policy
We invite all guests to relax, socialise and enjoy all of the benefits in a safe and comfortable environment. We would ask for your support in helping us maintain the following behavioural guidelines.
The Club will not tolerate:
- Foul language
- Intentionally sitting in the seats of other members
- Any form of abuse, both physical and verbal
- Threatening behaviour
- Damage to property
- Fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any form of discrimination
- Any breach of the ground rules
Any persons who engage in this type of behaviour will be removed from the club and the American Express Community Stadium. Depending on the severity of the behaviour, this may incur suspension of membership and exclusion of the individual concerned. Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their guests are aware of the club’s policies and procedures. Please advise your nearest safety steward or Club staff member of any inappropriate behaviour and we will take action to address the issu
Where would I find my seat details?
Each 1901 Club member is allocated a membership card with a membership number, which relates to a seat or number of seats and the use of a specified lounge. Only the member, or a person authorised by the member, is permitted to use these seats or the lounge. It is expected that all members and guests respect this exclusive use and only occupy the seat specified on their membership card. It is an expectation of the club that all minors are supervised at all times and informed of this club rule by the responsible adult.
What do I do if I lose my ticket?
We request that you take all necessary precautions to protect your tickets and keep them in a secure place. As a precaution, when issuing tickets to your guest(s) we recommend that you record the seat details next to your guest(s) name to avoid difficulties. In the event that a ticket is lost or stolen, the member is to notify the hospitality team as soon as possible.
To prevent unauthorised entry to the venue, the lost tickets will be de-activated once reported lost or stolen.
What are the hospitality area opening times?
Lounges open 2 hours 30 minutes before scheduled kick-off time and close 2 hours after full time of the day's match. Full opening times here
How long before the match is food served in the hospitality areas?
Food is served as and when you are seated. We advise members and guests who are dining to arrive when the lounges open (2 hours 30 minutes before kick-off).
Where can I arrange to be picked up and dropped off?
At the stadium entrance in Village Way South at the official drop-off point.
May I bring guests who support away teams?
Your hospitality facility and match seats are in a BHAFC home area. Please ensure guests refrain from wearing away club colours including scarves, or be seen openly supporting the away team as they will be liable to be refused entry to the stadium or ejected without compensation.
Is there anywhere to smoke during the match?
In accordance with Smokefree England, it is against the law to smoke anywhere inside the stadium at the Amex. On a matchday there are designated smoking areas outside of the stadium but please be advised there is no re-admittance once you have entered the ground.
Do I qualify for a concession due to my age?
Brighton & Hove Albion offer concession pricing in a number of areas around the Amex. There are no concessions in hospitality.
What happens if I'm turned away on a matchday for not adhering to the dress code?
We encourage all members and their guests to remind themselves of the dress code, as failure to adhere to this will result in refused entry on matchdays.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to re-seat guests in general admission areas of the stadium if refused admission.
