An early goal, followed by one either side of half-time left Albion with a mountain to climb. Kaoru Mitoma sparked a fight back which was short lived as Gabriel Martinelli scored a fourth for the visitors. Albion battled on and Evan Ferguson scored a second, then Kaoru Mitoma's effort reduced the deficit to one goal momentarily, before VAR intervened.
